Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

The odd part is that now up/down in the on screen keyboard won't work. Up/down works everywhere else. Not sure now if it worked with the original plugin or not.

You need to add this to your advancedsetting.xml file (learn how to ccreate one on the XBMC wiki, if you don't already have one)

I finally got the new version of EG running properly. I just tried the updated version of this plugin.

You have a typo in the actions folder "Media plying" should be "Media Playing".

The command for updating the video library has also been extended. Now you can specify a folder for the library to update. See here and here. It would be great to have this Even Action with a blank to fill in the folder parameter, and if left blank it does a regular Video library update.

Should this thread be under plugin support?

I think the easiest way is to copy the "Remote" folder from EventGhost with your XBMC settings, and then to paste it in a texteditor, now do a find/replace "XBMC2." to "XBMC2.Remote", so any actions changes from "XBMC2.Power()" to "XBMC2.RemotePower()", and then paste that back to EvenGhost, that should work for most of the buttons.

Edit: You might need to remove the old "Remote" folder before pasting the edited one.

I added the text "Remote" to all remote buttons and "Gamepad" to the gamepad buttons, to make then unique.

I Hope this is usable.

IMO there needs to be an easy migration path if you make code changes.
... this just shows one bigr reason BM needs to split the XML into multiples. testing sux!

I had to change the internal names and unfortunately I am not aware how to make an easy migration path from that, sorry. Hopefully I won't need to change them again.

OK, I have attached a modified config, I removed the Gamepad buttons as you ware not using them, then I added the "Remote" prefix to the remote buttons and removed a space from "My TV","My Music","My Pictures" and "My Video".

Next time I need to change the internal names I'll try to think how to easiest convert the old config.

OK, I have made a small tool to convert settings from the previous version FixXBMCSettings.exe, in case anyone still needs it.

Just copy the folder that includes "Remote" and run this tool and then paste the result back to EventGhost.
But make a backup of your settings before in case there is a problem.

I found it easier to relearn all the commands.

I think I've found something that doesn't work. CodecInfo. I mapped using the same keys as the original version and I can eventghost trigger it, bit I get nothing on screen. I'm using the same key as Title, but this combo worked ok before since Title is only good when browsing shares/files and CodecInfo is only good when playing videos.
