I have created a plugin for KMPlayer.

EventGhost won't load it... at least mine won't.

It says it can't load __init__.py

When I go to Configuration -> Add plugin in EventGhost I get message in the left windows that says "Can't read __init__.py for plugin "KMPlayer"". I use Eventghost 0.3.5c.908.

You should use latest beta version and see if your problem persists.

I have the commands from http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10546

This file is old and have no commands for Open album art.
In the past i do a short look for a solution to remote control Open album art but no luck.
I think you can only ask in kmplayer forum for a possible solution.

I want to use this plugin, but when I add it I get this massage " KMPlayer installation path not found!" Hm I think I know why, KMPlayer is installed in D:\Media\The KMPlayer. What do I have to change that the plugin is working?

So I solved it, it is working. I had to change the path from Software\\KMPlayer\\KMP2.0\\OptionArea to Software\\KMPlayer\\KMP2.0\\OptionList\KMPWizard

I'm new comer, and what to add KMplayer Plugin too.
My system XP Pro SP3, Event ghost version 0.3.7.r1194
And I have same problem that it said the KMplayer installation path not found.

Can anyone told me how to change the path setting?

locate the path in the registry and edit the file located in the kmplayer plugin folder

working ok this plugin, but how to use this plugin without focus on kmplayer?
Without focus remote buttons does not respond to kmplayer.

what do you mean without focus on kmplayer. i am german, so my english is not the best one.

you can try the funktion find window (kmplayer) and then bring it to the front - it should be the active window now, maybe this helps.

Hi all,

I've downloaded this plugin into EG, and it has loaded correctly for me, and all seems to be running smoothly except for a small problem...

Certain button on my remote by default trigger certain HID functions (HID.button7 and HID.button9) on my setup. This is not so bad, except KMPlayer takes these commands and performs some function immediately. EVEN if i have these buttons bound to a different function through the KMPlayer plugin.

does anyone have any advice on this? I basically need to somehow stop KMPlayer for responding to HID commands and respond only to keyboard commands. any help would be much appreciated.
