laggy IR transmit

I am using the MCE vista IR blaster and it sometimes becomes very laggy. It will blast the IR 20 seconds after executed. This is a problem when I have a sequence that needs to be transmitted because it is time dependent. It works great one moment and very slow the next. I have reinstalled, rebooted. ect...

I've noticed the same thing. My guess is the machine just can't handle everything that's running simultaneously. I think it usually happens when I switch to the HTPC input on my TV and receiver - the recorded tv section is brought up - I believe I'm having to wait for the second hard drive to spin up before it will execute the next commands I've sent.

I'm hoping to separate my HTPC and eventghost with a future build. Hopefully that will take care of it.
