It seems as they are directly translated to keyboard presses so i cant read the event in eventghost...
The same happens for up, down, left, right and "ok".

@brand10 - How did you get MCE mode working?
I get the same result with the number keys and the directional/select keys when I use the generic HID plugin

Not at all. MCE Mode is not implemented in this plugin. I just tried it with the Generic HID plugin while switched over to MCE mode with the soundgraph plugin or with the iMON Manager.

Whatever... Maybe i try to develop a MCE Mode based Soundgraph Plugin which uses the "USB Remote Driver" in addition to get the "hard coded" events working in EventGhost. But... i am really frustrated about this soundgraph crap. The LCD is shitty, the remote api is a joke (or better non-existant), and so on...

Why is it useful to take the USB Remote Driver? Because in MCE Mode the number-keys (0-9) and cursor keys (up, down, left, right, "ok") are directly passed to the "keyboard HID" of Windows (see here), which means, they does NOT show up as an event in EventGhost.

Good News!

Soundgraph Released their Remote Control API so its possible to directly scan the Hardware through the API DLL.
Maybe someone is able to build an Eventghost plugin based on that DLL!?

Is there any more news on this plugin, especially with the API available? It'd be so nice to use EventGhost with the imon in MCE mode, instead of the Soundgraph software.

No update so far... i am still developing the "iMON MCE Only" Driver but the good news is:
It seems to work... But it's not finished in a state which i could post for public use...

I actually already wrote this one a system tray application that sends all the received commands to eventghost.
It is based on the iMON API.

There"s only one limitation and that is hardware which uses a hid driver for the arrow keys and numkeys is non configurable and I can't seem to get the generic HID plugin to catch these received commands

if any interest in the program or the source code, pm me.

Therefore i have a solution already... It is based on the WinUSB Remote Driver in EG 4.1 and works like a charm.
If u want to have "full" EG support for iMON there will be 2 plugins in future:

1.) My new one. based on the WinUSB Remote Driver from EG 4.1 for the arrow and number keys. (all HID Keyboard keys, shown in this table).
2.) Based on the new iMON API for all other keys

Allright!

For now I don't really need to reconfigure those hid buttons, but still, it might come in handy in the future.
We'll be waiting!

Well, as u can see the in the table the *, #, BACK and CLEAR buttons are mapped to HID Keyboard normally.
I alway use them with eventghost, so i need to get their events... and thats possible with the new driver.

First release of the API Plugin: click ;)
The API Version turns this HID plugin obsolete.

Got a question for ya, does this plugin support this which i may buy very soon.
Is the IR currently compatible with evenghost would be a more appropriate question. This device can turn on/off the computer plus it's nicer than the current one i have hence my interest.
My goal is :
-turn on/off the pc
-use one remote only
-control progs via eventghost with the same remote

What would be be a similar product compatible with EG if not
