eventghost window is empty

Postby Samcek » Thu Apr 08, 2010 1:04 pm

A week or so ago, out of nowehere, EventGhost stopped displaying the contents of the configuration tree and the event log. No point describing it, just look at the screenshot.

The problem is only in the display of the widgets. The configuration is loaded and is working normally. I can execute every macro as usual. But I cannot click on anything (because its not displayed) or change anything in the configuration. (Good thing that my configuration has been unchanged for a while now and in a state that is useful to me.)

Has anyone noticed the same problem perhaps? Any workaround? Any idea at all?

p.s. I haven't been doing anything special when this behaviour occured. No special installation, no new OS or updates, nothing that would disturb (in my opinion) EventGhost. Really weird. I have, of course, tried restarting EventGhost, rebooting Windows, and a few days ago, I upgraded from XP SP2 to SP3 (not because of this problem, but it didnt change anything regarding EventGhost).

Thanks, it did the trick.

Actually, I just renamed one file, config.py to something else, and as I suspected, it was indeed the offending file.
