Sceduled scenarios

Postby woodi » Tue Jul 17, 2012 8:57 am

Hi,

I have some troubles setting up scheduled scenarios in EventGhost.

Problem 1
Lets say I have some window lamps that I want to turn on at 21:00 and turn off at 02:30 every single day. I have set this up with the plugin Scheduler and its working. So far so good.
But here comes the problem:
I do have a "GoodNight"-button that I press when I go to bed, lets say 23:30. When I press that button I want to turn off all the window lamps and even turn off the Schedule for some hours, to about 04:30, (so It doesnt turn on the lamps again). I have tried to disable the Scheduler-action, but it seems like its running anyway and turn the lamps on again after a few minutes.
So, how can I disable a Scheduler-action so it doesnt send ON/OFF-signals for some hours (or specific time)?

Problem 2
In the Scheduler-plugin you can setup 3 different ON/OFF times. I have a filterpump to my pool that I want to turn on for two hours, turn off for one hour, turn on for two hours, turn off for one hour etc. How can I set up this schedule? I have tried to make three different instances of the Scheduler-action but it doesnt seem to work 100%.

Best regards
Johan

For problem 2, I think a plugin called SchedulGhost might fit better. Select and configure the periodically schedule type.

For problem 1, try to disable synchronisation. Then you can make override with your good night button and the lamp will not be turned on again.

Thanks for your help.

I have set up SchedulGhost as in your picture, but I cant manage to get it run more than once. It sends ON, and after the set span-time it sends OFF. After that nothing more will happen.
In the SchedulGhost Manager it says "Next run" and a timestamp thats sounds correct, but no ON or OFF is comming!?

I have changed the settings yesterday to run for one minute every second minute and works perfect for me since then as also before.

Try to run with small time intervals to check the functionality.
